Euroventure 2012 | Paris | Part 1

By August 16, 2012 personal

When we were planning our honeymoon, I really wanted to go to Paris. I’d never been overseas before and Paris seemed like the perfect place to start. In the end, we decided that it would make more sense to wait and go when we could stay longer, spend more money and not be tired from the whirlwind of getting married, so we agreed to go to San Francisco on the condition that we would go to Paris for our one year anniversary. Well, we actually did it!

This trip was over a year in the making and it was worth every second I waited and every dollar we spent. The sights, the food, the people, the experiences…it was life-changing. We ended up staying in Paris for a few days and then took an overnight train into Italy and stayed in Rome for the last few days of the trip.

Here’s a few of my favorite pictures from part 1 of our time in Paris.

People leave all sorts of pictures and notes everywhere inside. There’s even a piano that anyone is welcome to play and we were lucky enough to catch a random but amazing pianist playing while we were there. It’s magical and I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in Paris.

Haha Christy, yes – even Stephen agreed they were a lot better looking than the ones here!

And you should definitely go! I loved Paris. I didn’t want to leave.
